This elegant silk brocade wall-hanging scroll is designed for Chinese brush painting (sumi-e) and calligraphy. Featuring high-quality blank rice paper, it provides a pre-mounted surface for painting or writing directly. Alternatively, you can dry-mount your artwork onto the scroll using silicone paper (see Henry’s YouTube demo below).
Silk scrolls have been used for centuries to preserve and showcase ink paintings and calligraphy across China and other Asian cultures. Many ancient masterpieces displayed in museums are mounted in this traditional format. The scroll's lightweight design, complete with wooden rods at the bottom, allows for effortless handling, storage, and display.
